Miles of Walking the Flats
Mars Bay Bonefish Lodge, Bahamas
Our Gracious Host and Proprietor Bill Howard. He does a great job, clean and tidy, great staff, great guides. Bill meticulously maintains everything, all his Boats and motors and the lodge. Also Bill goes offshore and catches all his seafood for his guests. Last night we had fresh Red Silks Snapper that he had gone into a few hundred feet of water offshore to catch, and then cooked beautifully. I can’t tell You how good it was, Fantasticlly Succullent.
And here is Why the “Byoobb”. Well Mike and I, our first time in the Bahamas, were trying to figure out how best to tour this incredible archipelago. Firstly there are very few roads. On South Andros where we spent most of our time there is only one road down part of the east side of the island. Some Islands there are no roads at all. Secondly there are boats everywhere, in peoples yards, by the side of the road, dragged up on the beach, half in the water and in the water. So we thought if you just brought your own outboard you could make your choice of a fine boat and away you go. Bring Your own outboard to the Bahamas.
Vassy, great young guy, helps around lodge and full of Canada Questions
